"All Systems Are Go" for the Chesterfield County Chamber of Commerce's Banquet. The annual awards celebration and installation of officers will be held  Friday, January 27, 2012 from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Koger Conference Center located at 1021 Koger Center Boulevard, Richmond, 23235. Donner Grigsby, NASA engineer and NASA Langley's 2004, 2005, and 2006 Speaker of the Year will be the keynote speaker.

An astounding total of 2577 pieces of denim were donated to the Denim Drive at the Chesterfield Towne Center, representing 37 Chesterfield County PTAs. That is an increase of 800% more denim donated this year than last year.

This week a record number of 283 denim pieces were donated. Falling Creek Middle School has jumped into second place, rivaling Robious Middle School who has been in the lead since July.
