Great Denim Days was a huge success! Goodwill Industries received 6,242 pieces of denim and 13 PTAs received a total of $6,000. Thank you to everyone that participated.

Learn How to Minimize Debt on December 2nd

Many people get so carried away with holiday shopping that it takes them the next six to twelve months or more to dig out from holiday debt. The Chesterfield County Office of Virginia Cooperative Extension will offer a free financial management workshop, Minimizing Holiday Debt, Thursday, Dec. 2, 9:30 a.m.-noon, at the Extension Office, 6807 Mimms Loop.

This workshop will offer tips on helping families take charge of holiday spending, including how to set and maintain a reasonable holiday budget, and how to reduce overall debt.
