The Arts Center will be built on County land adjacent to the Chester Library. The Foundation, in partnership with the County, will bring cultural arts to Chesterfield County and our surrounding communities.
The Chesterfield Historical Society of Virginia serves as the center for Chesterfield history. Throughout the year, the Society presents at least 50 historic events and programs. Its purpose is to collect, preserve, interpret and promote the county's unique past for the education of present and future generations.

Swift Creek Mill Theatre has been delighting audiences with theatrical productions since 1965. It is housed in what is believed to be the oldest grist mill in America, dating back to Virginia’s early English settlers.
